Computer-aided selling
Computer-aided selling involves using computer-based tools and methods to optimize sales processes and in doing so increase sales. The basis of computer-aided selling is a customer database containing all sales- and customer-related data such as sales opportunities, documentation of previous meetings with the customer, forecasts, evaluations, product presentations, and customer profiles. Sales personnel can access this information before, while, and after meeting the customer, providing them with a real competitive edge. Computer-aided selling is a key component of CRM.
