Karlsruhe, Germany, January 14 2010 CAS Software AG, the leading provider of CRM solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany, experienced strong growth in 2009 despite the financial crisis: an increase of 25.3 percent compared to the previous year. Contributing factors included a large commission from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), formed from the recent merger of Forschungszentrums Karlsruhe and Karlsruhe University. CAS Software also continued to invest: 26 new full-time employees in 2009 and its products are now sold in 24 countries.

Awards for innovation and working environment

The high level of innovation and the excellent working environment at CAS Software AG were highlighted in various benchmark studies. At the beginning of 2009, Wolfgang Clement, the former Minister of Economics and Labor who today acts as an advisor to TOP JOB, named CAS Software AG as the winner of the TOP JOB benchmark study and awarded it the title of "Employee of the Year." The Karlsruhe-based leading CRM provider also came top in the Innovation Management category in TOP 100. More important for CAS Software, however, is that its customers are successful: another of its customers won the CRM Best Practice Award in 2009, making it the seventh to have done so in recent years.

Positive outlook for the year ahead

CAS Software AG started the New Year with optimism. Martin Hubschneider says, "Small and medium-sized enterprises are continuing to invest in measures to increase customer orientation and streamline business processes. Over the years, CAS has invested in its team of staff and re-invests 20 percent of its annual revenue into product innovation. With the release of new products in the first quarter, we expect to see growth of between 15 and 20 percent in 2010."
